About this blog

Edmund Burke said, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” Some 25 years ago I made a decision to be counted amongst the good men and in many small ways attempted to make this world a better place for those around me. This blog is another attempt in that quest.

Currently I am involved in several NGOs that provide services to those infected and affected by HIV, food and environmental issues, education and political reformation. I am the founding Chairman of ENGAGE, a pro-reform NGO and was part of the Steering Committee of the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (Bersih 2.0) from 2013 to 2016.

You have my permission to republish any of my articles as long as proper acknowledgement of authorship and a link back to this blog is made. I can be contacted at thomas.fann@gmail.com. Thank you.
